Mrs. Hernandez
My name is Mrs. Hernandez, but you can call me Mrs. H. I am entering my
35th year of teaching. This will be my 11th year at Shannon. I joined Shannon
for the 2nd time in 2013; 1st time was in 1990. I love the small community feel
at Shannon! I have taught all over the district in grades TK-6th. I also spent
12 years as a Teacher on Special Assignment supporting, mentoring, and
training teachers TK-12 district-wide. I continued to mentor teachers through
TIP & Student Teachers. My 2nd favorite title is Teacher. My first is Mom. I am
a mom of 2 amazing kids, 25 & 21. I spend my free time traveling the state for
Water Polo and swimming with my Athletic daughter. I volunteer for my
community year-round. I love teaching my Super Kinders!
