I'm  Donna Jacobs.  I have worked in WCCUSD for 19 years.  I started my career at Nystrom Elementary.  After 10 years of teaching Kindergarten, I applied for a kindergarten position here at Shannon Elementary which was the best decision I ever made.  After 2 years I made a change and decided to teach 1st grade.  Everyday is new and exciting with my students.   I look foward to working with everyone in the new school year.

I started teaching in 1993 I have been at Shannon for 22 years.Highland was not a positive place. Coming to Shannon was the BEST decision ever.I love to cook (including baking), read, garden, & sew; teaching is my second career, I grew up in Pleasant Hill and have lived in Concord for 19 years. I earned a pilot license about 35 years ago.If we believe in ourselves we can do anything, like learning to fly a plane.
